Georg von Segesser practices as independent arbitrator. He has acted as chairman, co-arbitrator, sole arbitrator and counsel in over two hundred domestic and international arbitrations (ICC, ICSID, Swiss Rules, DIS, VIAC, LCIA, SCC, UNCITRAL and others) and as co-director of the Claims Resolution Tribunal for Dormant Accounts in Switzerland. He is an arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration for Sport. His arbitration practice covers a broad range of issues, among them disputes related to joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, distributorships, oil and gas, construction, building and manufacturing contracts, service and cooperation agreements and intellectual property rights.
Georg von Segesser has authored publications on international arbitration, property and trust law, and cultural and art law. He is a member of the Swiss Arbitration Association, the International Bar Association, the London Court of International Arbitration, the German Institution of Arbitration, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Fellowship), the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association, and arbitration institutions in England, Austria, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Brunei, and Hong Kong, etc. He is a past President of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.
In 1971, Georg von Segesser graduated from Zurich University. After serving as a district court clerk in 1971–72, he worked as an associate and partner at Pestalozzi & Gmür in Zurich from 1973 until 1982, and in 1974–75 as a foreign associate with Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts in New York. In 1982, Georg von Segesser co-founded the law firm in Zurich which is now Schellenberg Wittmer Ltd and became of counsel in 2015. In 2017, Georg von Segesser opened von Segesser Law Offices and continues to practice as independent arbitrator.

Michael Falck is active both as legal counsel and as mediator/neutral. His practice focuses on commercial, estate and art law. He has experience in corporate and contractual law, in sectors ranging from trade and distribution, banking and finance to arts and media and non-profit foundations.
Michael Falck is a member of the Swiss Bar Association, the Swiss Arbitration Association, the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association. He is accredited as a mediator both by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR, London) and the Swiss Chamber of Commercial Mediation (SCCM).
In 2003, Michael Falck graduated from the University of Geneva Law School. After clerking at a court, he qualified as a lawyer in Zurich and worked as an associate at Lenz & Staehelin in Geneva. In 2010, Michael Falck obtained an MBA from the University of Cambridge, after which he worked in London and Los Angeles for various media and consulting companies and startups. He was admitted to the California bar in 2015. in 2017 he co-founded von Segesser Law Offices together with Dr. Georg von Segesser.

Angelina is a triple-qualified arbitrator and counsel with over thirteen years of experience in international arbitration. Admitted to practice law in New York, England and Wales, and Switzerland, she has acted as presiding arbitrator, co-arbitrator, sole arbitrator, counsel and tribunal secretary in over 50 international arbitration proceedings, both ad hoc and institutional (e.g., ICC, LCIA, ICSID, Swiss Arbitration Centre, DIS, ICDR, CAS and UNCITRAL), governed by various procedural and substantive laws. She also has practice employing ADR techniques such as mediation and conciliation.
Educated and trained in both civil and common law jurisdictions, Angelina has a profound understanding and appreciation of both legal systems. She has broad experience acting in complex cross-border multi-jurisdictional proceedings concerning an array of commercial and investment matters, including disputes arising under large-scale engineering projects, manufacturing, delivery and sales agreements, shareholders agreements, and license and distribution contracts. Angelina’s areas of specialization include construction and sales law, general contract law, and private and public international law.
In 2003, Angelina graduated from Loyola University in Maryland with a B.B.A. in Accounting. She thereafter received a J.D. with distinction from Hofstra University School of Law in New York, where she was a Notes & Comments Editor of the Hofstra Law Review. After practicing several years in the field of international tax, in 2009, she received an LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) from The Graduate Institute (IHEID) and University of Geneva, graduating at the top of her class.
Before joining von Segesser Law Offices as Counsel, she was a Senior Associate at the leading Swiss law firm Schellenberg Wittmer, where she was a member of the firm’s dispute resolution practice group in Geneva and Zurich from 2009 until 2018. Angelina regularly speaks and publishes on international dispute resolution and is a lecturer in International Arbitration at the Université Catholique de Lille.
She has been recognized for her work as an arbitrator by Who’s Who Legal Switzerland and Who’s Who Legal Arbitration – Future Leader, and is included in Leaders’ League’s Listing of Best Arbitrators in Switzerland.
